A chair lift and two cable-cars
take your bike to the mountaintop. Circuits decline as the tracks of ski: green, blue, red, black, according to their degree of difficulty. One counts not less than 120 km of mountain bike paths in La Clusaz. You can buy or rent the material at La Randonnée in Les Confins and Goy Sports in the center of the village. |

Hiking
The Chain of Aravis rises high in the sky, with its peaks and summits, of which
highlight is the Point Percée at 2752 m.
The chain is characterized by a succession of combs.
Some are deep and Névés remains there. Others more flared shelter
old chalets of mountain pasture.

The
paths of La Clusaz stage over more than 1500 m offering varied landscapes:
of greens alpages, big forests of spruces, the cliffs of limestone
in the steep points. The paths are maintained and are marked out for
all levels - Hiking in family; the ascent of Pointe Percée ;
rocky ways of Aravis for climbing ( level from 3 to 8) the new Via
Ferrata called "Yves Pollet Villard" (since summer 98) You
will find for sale in the Office de Tourisme a map of the pedestrian
hiking trails and VTT. 90 km of pedestrian paths and 120 km of VTT
paths . |
